How to use sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate (DOSS, CAS No. 577-11-7) in textile, printing and dyeing industry
Dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate is a kind anionic surfactant, have good wettability, permeability, emulsibility and foamability. Strong permeation ability, permeation quick and uniform as fabric rapid-permeation agent in printing and dyeing industry, can observably reduce surface tension.
Sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate as emulsifier, detergent and penetrating agent in textile industry; DOSS as surfactant and leveling agent in printing and dyeing industry.
DOSS not able to bear strong acid, strong alkali, heavy metallic salt and reductant etc.
To treatment cotton, fibre, viscose and their blended products, can directly bleached or dyed without boiling off
after treated fabric, can improve dyeing defects caused by dead cotton. The fabric hand feeling very soft and fullness
after printing and dyeing. The permeability of fabric is not affect by change of temperature, acid and alkali after
fabric processed.
Permeate effect very good under 40℃ and PH value 5-10, easy hydrolysis by alkali at hightemperatures, suit for the
fabric first process permeating agent under 40℃ then heated.
Not resistant to strong alkali, can not direct added to concentrated alkali solution, should be diluted before adding
the alkali solution.
If the bubble is much during usage, can add a little defoamer, such as octanol, tributy phosphate.
The sizing agent should be first depleted when green
body is refining and bleaching, to ensure permeate effect.
